How YOU Can Get Involved!

All religious organizations run on one thing:  the gifts of their volunteers!  What gifts do you have?  What great thing would YOU do, if someone just gave you the chance?

All members and friends of High Country UU Fellowship are encouraged to get involved in the life of the congregation.  We offer a number of ways in which YOU can work through your gifts and make REAL change -- change that wouldn't happen if you didn't say, "Yes!"  Check out the following list and see some ideas of where you might fit in:

  • Create membership brochures and pamphlets.
  • Put your theatrical gifts to work by helping to create Sunday and special services.  By serving on our Celebrations Committee, you can help set the course for Sunday services for the coming year.
  • Volunteer two hours a week in the HCUUF office.
  • Help our parents and children formulate and carry out RE programs.
  • Join the HCUUF Adult Choir – or, if you play an instrument, share your special musical gifts in services and special events.
  • Create the weekly HCUUF ads that run in the Summit Daily News.
  • Set up a small-group activity around an interest or a need.
  • Teach an Adult RE class.
  • Assist in bylaws revisions.
